双重语境中的象征
——论英国华人作家刘宏的小说

摘要:刘宏是当今英国华人中唯一用英语写小说的作家,在她的小说中有浓重的象征意味。本文采用文本细读法,分析阐释刘宏的三部英语长篇小说——《惊月》、《鹊桥》和《触摸》。认为刘宏作为双重语境中的华人离散作家,将中国传统的公用式固定象征运用于西方语境,使得这些濒于僵化的象征在异域中重新焕发魅力,取得了陌生化的奇异效果。从而使她的小说在向西方传播中国文化的同时,也凸显了诗性。

Abstract: Liu Hong is the only Chinese British writer writing in English now. There is a dense symbolic meaning in her novels. In this paper her three novels that are Startling Moon, Magpie Bridge and The Touch are analyzed and interpreted through close-reading. It can be found that as a Chinese diaspora writer in double-context, she applies regular Chinese traditional symbol to occidental condition, making the old and fixed symbol radiate new glamour of estranging effect. Consequently, her novels protrude the poetic character as well as transmitting Chinese culture.

“误译”的文化使命与文本“来生”的建构
--以建国后十七年英美文学翻译为例

摘要:在传统翻译理论中,“误译”往往只是被作为判断译者语言能力、或揭示译者不忠的“失败”的语言转换行为。然而,近年来随着翻译研究学科的不断深入发展,当人们重新检阅翻译史上的“误译”行为时,却不断发现这些看似“失败”的语言转换行为是负载着特殊文化使命的译者对文本“来生”的重构,是具有历史有效性的改写行为。本文以建国后十七年英美文学的翻译为研究对象,并通过对新时期以来的新译本的研读,揭示“误译”所隐含的中西文化在特定历史时期的碰撞、扭曲与变形;而新时期以来对“误译”的不断修正则射出复杂变迁中的中国面对他者时自信而宽容的文化气度。

Abstract: In traditional translation theory, mistranslation is either regarded as a yardstick of the translator’s language ability or a proof of the translator’s betrayal against the author. However, with the further development of translation studies, a reexamination of mistranslations in the translation history will reveal that those seemingly unsuccessful language transactions turn out to be the reconstructed afterlife of the texts encoded with the special cultural mission of the translator, a rewriting effective in specific historical periods. Targeted at the translation of English and American literature during 1949-1966 as well as the new translated editions since 1978, this paper, through a reexamination of mistranslations, discloses the cultural conflict and distortion between China and the West in this specific historical context; and the revised mistranslations after 1978 reflect a different cultural attitude of China towards other cultures which is more confident and tolerant.

译者的性别意识与翻译实践
——谈性别视角下的《紫色》四译本

摘要:为考察我国语境中译者性别意识与翻译实践之间的关系,本研究以艾丽斯?沃克的妇女主义小说《紫色》中译本为研究对象,在性别视角下从译者个人背景、译者序、译文等方面,全面考察了陶洁(1998)、鲁书江(1986)、杨仁敬(1986)(1987)的四个译本,主要探讨了以下三个问题:译者的性别意识是否会给翻译带来影响?女译者一定表现出女性主义倾向,而男译者一定对性别不敏感吗?译者的性别意识在翻译中是否受其它因素制约?

Translators’ Gender-Consciousness and Their Translation Practice: Four Translations of The Color Purple
Abstract: By carefully examining four Chinese translations of The Color Purple by Tao Jie (1998), Lu Shujiang (1986) and Yang Renjing (1986)(1987), this paper mainly discusses the following three questions: firstly, will the translator’s gender-consciousness influence their translation? Secondly, is it true that woman translator always shows a feminist tendency, while man translator a gender-unawareness? Thirdly, will the translator’s gender-consciousness be effected by some factors?

消极浪漫与神学美学
———以柯勒律治的诗歌及相关作品为例

摘要:本文以欧洲基督教思想史上的浪漫主义神学家、英国“湖畔诗人”的重要代表人物柯勒律治的诗歌及相关作品为例,从不同的角度分析消极浪漫与神学美学的关联,并由此提出:消极浪漫主义与西方基督教神学美学无论在其表现形态、内容构成,还是所蕴涵的内核上,都有着千丝万缕的关联。消极浪漫主义的诗歌及主要文本表现形式,亦成为西方基督教神学美学的主要进路及基本经典的重要来源之一。

Abstract: This article uses the poems written by Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772-1834), an important Romantic theologian in the history of European Christian thoughts and one of  the Lake Poets key figures, as examples to discuss the relationship between Passive Romantic and Aesthetic Theology. It tries to explain this topic by analyzing the countless ties existing between Passive Romanticism and Western Christian Theological Aesthetic, both in style as well as in substantial contents. It shows that Western Christian Theological Aesthetic draws much of its inspiration from Passive Romanticism. In fact, Passive Romanticism poems and main writings are the main source for Western Christian Theological Aesthetic itself.

新感觉派:文学汉语与都市体验

摘要:本文从文学汉语的角度分析新感觉派对都市体验的表达。新感觉派的文学汉语在词语和句式上对欧语十分开放,对日语的开放显示了自身的特色。感觉之间的内部挪移和电影动的节奏,是其文学汉语塑造的两个内在的原因。新感觉派的文学汉语主要表达了对都市速度、失重和无根漂浮的体验。

New Sensualism: Literary Chinese and Urban Experience                    Wen Guiliang
Abstract: This article is to analyze the New Sensualism’s expression of urban experience from the perspective of literary Chinese. The literary Chinese of New Sensualism is open to European languages both lexically and syntactically. In addition, its openness to Japanese also exhibits its uniqueness in this respect. The internal shift among sensations and the movable rhythm of movies are two major causes of the representation of New Sensualism’s literary Chinese, which is mainly the urban experience of pace, weightlessness and rootlessness.

蒋彝游记的跨文化语境

摘要:不同文化的相遇和冲突,既构成了蒋彝的生存环境,也构成了蒋彝的写作语境。“游客”是蒋彝在国外旅居期间的身份,游记这种文体也成了记录蒋彝在国外生存状态的最恰当的表现形式。本文从地理空间、文化语言和身份认同等方面对蒋彝游记的语境和文本的关系进行分析研究,考察了跨文化语境对蒋彝游记文体的选择、游记内容和写作手法的影响。

Transcultural Context of Jiang Yi’s Itinerar                      Ren Yiming
Abstract: The confrontment and conflict between different cultures make both the living condition and writing context for Jiang Yi. As a traveller overseas, Jiang Yi uses itinerar to record his living condition abroad, which serves his purpose perfectly. This paper is to study the relationship between Jiang Yi’s itinerar and the context from geographical space, cultures and languages, and identification. It will study specifically the influence wielded by the transcultural context on the choice of style, content and techniques of his itinerar.

作为诗歌比喻的汉语
——从谢阁兰的《碑》到马瑟的《汉语课》

摘要:本文首先介绍了法国诗人谢阁兰的诗集〈碑〉的翻译情况,然后探讨了这位诗人与汉语的关系。作者认为,谢阁兰 与汉语的关系既是实证层面的,也是想象层面的, 在他那里和在其他一些法国当代诗人那里一样( 如〈汉语课〉的作者马瑟), 汉语已成为诗歌语言的比喻。

Abstract: This paper first presents specific problems which are posed in the Chinese translation of Steles,Segalen’book of poetry, and then makes some reflection on the relationship between Segalen and Chinese language. The author holds that the relationship between Segalen and Chinese  is both empirical and imaginary. For him, as for some other contemporary French poets such as Cerard mace, the author of Lesson of Chinese, Chinese has become a metaphor for poetic language.

盛成: 20世纪中法文化对话中的重要见证人

摘要:1909年,谢阁兰将他在中国长途旅行过程中的诗作按照方位合成诗集,并命名为《碑》。谢阁兰从中国人观念中空间对立和不断变化的构建中找到共鸣,并把这种精神构建移植到了诗意建筑中。《碑》并不刻意创作一种具异域情调的文学,而是用一种复杂而又微妙的方式,表达他从中国空间中得到的灵感。

Poetic Imagery and Chinese Space in Steles                          Zhang Hua
Abstract: In 1909, Segalen published Steles, in which he organized his poetry writen in his long journey in China according to locations. Segalen appreciated the spatial opposition and ever-changing construction in Chinese philosophy and embodied it in his poetry. Steles is not a literary work deliberately made exotic, but an expression of the inspiration from his understanding of Chinese space in a comlicated and subtle way.
